A guitarist who made his name with one of the biggest hard rock acts in the world will wow crowds in Nuneaton this week. Phil Campbell, part of Motorhead for over thirty years, brings his band Phil Campbell and the B****** Sons to The Crew in Queens Road tomorrow night.
Gig-goers can expect a mixture of Motorhead classics and original tracks. Campbell joined Motorhead in 1984 and remained with the band until 2015 when band leader and singer Lemmy sadly died. Campbell then founded the B****** Sons, featuring three of his children, Todd, Dane and Tyla.
Rich Burlingham from The Crew told CoventryLive: “It’s a bit of a last-minute show, but Phil Campbell is the longest-serving member of Motorhead other than Lemmy. So it’s like having rock royalty.

“For a small venue in Nuneaton this is like having The Queen. We are really looking forward to it. This is red carpet stuff!”
Rich added: “We saw the band recently at the Sugarmill, they were fantastic. They did a good section of Motorhead songs, as well as some originals.
“We spoke with them and found out they had this date free so we moved stuff around and booked them. It will be a fantastic night.”
Ash Tustain, frontman): “queens hall is one of our favourite venues; we’ve played with Phil Campbell and his Bastard Sons at festivals before but to be main support here at a venue so local to us is a great honour. It’s going to be a great show and we cannot wait to hit the stage”
Tickets are available now, starting at £28.50. Support will be provided by local act Dig Lazarus.
